San Beda University will be without Janti Miller when it goes for the kill in Game 2 of the NCAA Season 101 men’s basketball Finals on Saturday, December 13, at the Araneta Coliseum.
The 6-foot-4 rookie is set to serve a one-game suspension following his two technical fouls and eventual ejection in the Red Lions’ 89-70 victory over Letran College in Game 1 last Wednesday.
Miller disagreed with the ruling but expressed confidence that San Beda can finish the job even without him.
"It was suspicious," said Miller, who tallied 16 points and nine rebounds. "But I know they will step up. They can win without me."
San Beda will attempt to appeal the suspension as they go for the sweep, but NCAA Commissioner Atty. Rico Quicho said the decision is already final based on league rules.
