The Dallas Mavericks snagged a third straight win against the Miami Heat,118-108, during their cross-conference matchup in the 2025-26 NBA regular season on Thursday (PH time) at the American Airlines Center.
Cooper Flagg led Dallas with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Naji Marshall added 18, while Klay Thompson and Anthony Davis chipped in 17 apiece.
The Mavericks built a 10-point lead at halftime and stretched it to 13 entering the fourth, 93-80. But Miami mounted a rally, trimming the deficit to seven, 109-102, after Kelel Ware's smooth finish at the rim.
Moments later, Bam Adebayo converted a tough close-range basket to bring the Heat within four.
That's when Flagg took command. The top overall pick buried a clutch jumper, then swatted Andrew Wiggins' attempt on the next possession. Davis later found him under the rim for a contested layup that restored a double-digit cushion, 116-106.
Now 8-15, the Mavericks will hit the road to face the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday. Miami (14-8), meanwhile, will aim to bounce back against the Orlando Magic on the same day.
