The Phoenix Suns escaped with a hard-fought 123-114 victory over the Dallas Mavericks to notch their fourth straight win in the 2025-26 NBA regular season on Thursday (PH time) at the American Airlines Center.
Devin Booker spearheaded Phoenix with 26 points and 9 assists, while Grayson Allen stayed hot after his career-high outing, adding 23 markers and 5 rebounds.
Phoenix once led by 18, but Dallas stormed back to make it a one-possession game late. With the Mavericks threatening a comeback, Allen drove fearlessly into the lane and drew a foul.
Moments later, Allen delivered the dagger when his floater was deemed good after a goaltending call against Daniel Gafford to make it 117-112 with 1:25 remaining.
Now 7-5, the Suns will look to make it five in a row against the Indiana Pacers tomorrow. The Mavericks, still without All-Star big man Anthony Davis for the seventh straight game, dropped to 3-9.
