The stage is set for the first-ever Grand Slam showdown between Alex Eala and reigning Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek.

 

They will lock horns on Saturday night (PH time) in the third round of the 2026 Wimbledon Championships, with Centre Court the venue for their much-anticipated clash.

 

The Eala vs. Swiatek clash is the first match on schedule on Centre Court, with the Filipina's Round of 32 contest set to start at 8:30 p.m tonight. 

 

 

Eala, who is seeded No. 29 in this tournament, is looking to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time in her career with a win over Swiatek.
