Team Falcons found its groove edged Onic Philippines, 4-2 in the lower bracket finals to not only advance to the grand finals of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines but also qualify to the Esports World Cup in Paris, France.

With the two teams trading victories through the first four games of the series, Team Falcons stepped up in Game 5 with midlaner Salic “Hadji” Imam providing the big plays before Marco “Super Marco” Requitano and Kyle “Kyletzy” Sayson delivered in Game 6 to complete the big series win.

With the victory, Team Falcons ended a three-season grand finals drought to arrange an intriguing duel against defending champion and fellow Paris-bound Team Liquid.

Tied 2-2 in the series, Team Falcons seized control of the map in Game 5, leading by as many as 5k in golds but had a hard time penetrating the base of Onic PH. 

Hadji then pulled off a perfectly placed Real World Manipulation ultimate from his Yve and caught all five Onic PH players to aid a four-man wipe that allowed Team Falcons PH to move a win away from the series win.

Smelling blood in the water, Team Falcons showed no letup in Game 6 with crucial pick-offs on two Onic PH players during the 21-minute Lord fight proved to be the dagger as they went for the final base push to end the series.
