Rain or Shine tied the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) 50 Commissioner’s Cup semifinals after beating Barangay Ginebra, 97-85, in Game 4 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
The Elasto Painters used their three-point shooting to grab a sizeable lead that reached at 58-36 at the half, and never looked back.
Rain or Shine got back in the series after their 103-98 defeat against Barangay Ginebra in Game 3 last Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The series is now even at 2-2 following the win that saw ROS outscoring Barangay Ginebra, 27-13.
Jaylen Johnson had 13 points and 12 rebounds, and Gian Mamuyac had 12 points as locals stepped up.
Rain or Shine also limited Barangay Ginebra to five threes in Game 4.
