The Oklahoma City Thunder inched closer to regaining homecourt advantage, building a 95-84 lead over the San Antonio Spurs after the third quarter of Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday (PH time) at Frost Bank Center.
The Thunder outscored the Spurs 37-33 during that period to extend their lead to 11 points entering the fourth quarter.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for OKC, posting a double-double through three quarters with 21 points and 10 assists.
OKC's bench players also stepped up, with Jared McCain, Alex Caruso, and Jaylin Williams combining for 44 points thus far.
Victor Wembanyama scored 19 points for the Spurs. De'Aaron Fox, who just returned to the lineup, got injured again after he and Lu Dort battled for a loose ball.
