ONIC PH honors Kelra's father

ONIC PH honored the memory of Rex Pillas, the father of former teammate Duane “Kelra” Pillas, by wearing black ribbons during their final regular season match in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 17 last Sunday.
The former world champions donned the ribbons as a show of mourning and solidarity with Kelra, whose father passed away last Saturday.
Rex was a steadfast and constant presence in Kelra's journey through professional esports, consistently supporting him in games and major tournaments throughout his rise. He was also a strong supporter of ONIC PH, where his son played for four seasons.

During that span, Kelra became one of the team’s key players, helping the team capture multiple titles, including an MPL Philippines championship and the M6 World Championship before transferring to ONIC Esports in Indonesia.
In the match that followed the tribute, ONIC PH fell to Team Liquid PH via sweep, as they struggled to convert their emotional moment into momentum on the competitive stage.
ONIC PH ended the regular season with a 9-5 record at the third seed.
