Rain or Shine defeated TNT, 112-109, last Friday to spoil the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) 50 Commissioner's Cup debut of Bol Bol.
Adrian Nocum scored a lay-up over Bol with 9.8 seconds left to settle the final score. Bol missed a three in TNT's final possession of the game to go 2-0 to start the conference.
Jaylen Johnson had 33 points and nine rebounds but was ejected midway in the fourth due to a punching incident with Glenn Khobuntin.
Nocum had 20 points in picking up the slack when Johnson was ejected in the game.
Bol had 38 points, 16 rebounds, and five blocks for TNT in a losing effort.
Prior to the TNT game, the Elasto Painters were coming off a 116-109 win over Macau Black Knights last Saturday.
Rain or Shine battles Meralco on March 27 in their next game at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
TNT's next opponent will be against NLEX on Sunday at the Ynares Center-Antipolo.
