The Oklahoma City Thunder finally snapped their two-game losing skid, recording a 119-110 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday (PH time) at
Crypto.com Arena. Seven players scored in double figures for the Thunder, who won their first game since Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was sidelined with an abdominal strain.

Jalen Williams scored a game-high 23 points on 6-for-17 shooting. He made a living on the free throw line, shooting 11-for-13 from the charity stripe. Isaiah Joe and Alex Caruso provided the offensive firepower off the bench, scoring 19 and 17 points, respectively.
The momentum swung in OKC’s favor midway through the fourth quarter when the Thunder unleashed an 11-2 run, turning a 98-99 deficit into a 109-101 lead with 3:05 left in the contest.
The Lakers kept it close late, with Rui Hachimura’s layup cutting the Thunder’s lead to three points at 110-113 with 1:03 remaining. The Thunder finished strong, though, closing the game with a 6-0 blast, with Williams scoring all of OKC’s points during that stretch.

It was a heartbreaking loss for the Lakers, who had their three-game winning streak snapped. They missed the services of star player Luka Doncic for a second straight game due to a left hamstring injury he picked up last Friday against Philadelphia.

LeBron James led LA’s offense in Doncic’s absence, scoring 22 points and issuing 10 assists. Marcus Smart added 19 points on 7-for-16 shooting, while Austin Reaves dropped 16 markers off the bench in a losing effort.
