Duane “Kelra” Pillas paid tribute to ONIC PH following his stunning transfer from the organization’s Philippine squad to its Indonesian counterpart—a move that sent shockwaves through the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang community.

In a video posted on his YouTube channel on Saturday, Kelra said that ONIC PH—particularly during Season 14—was the best team he has ever played for, not only because of the bond they built, but largely due to their dominant run from local competitions to the international stage.

“Ito pa rin ‘yung best of the best team ko sa buong ML career ko,” the 20-year-old gold laner said.

“‘Yung Season 14 ‘yung pinakabest season para sa career ko. ‘Yung season na ‘yun, syempre hindi lang dahil sa bonding namin, dahil din nag-champion kami. ‘Yung Season 14 saka M6 dominant run kami nun eh."

After joining the team for Season 13, Kelra teamed up with King "K1NGKONG" Perez, Frince "Super Frince" Ramirez, Borris "Brusko" Parro, and Jann "Kirk" Gutierrez to give the franchise its first-ever MPL PH championship in Season 14.

Their local success translated internationally, with the team sweeping their way to the M6 World Championship in Malaysia.

He went on to highlight the team’s culture, noting how players willingly helped one another, set aside individual egos, and focused solely on competing at the highest level.

“Kami pa rin ‘yung best of the best, ‘yung best of the best na team. Kasi kami ‘yung tipong hindi nagsisiraan na team, nagsisiraan sa isa’t isa. ‘Yung tiwala na binibigay ng isa’t isa, sagad,” said the former MSC Finals Most Valuable Player.

Kelra also shared his appreciation for the organization and his teammates after spending four seasons with the team.

“Sobra akong happy and sobrang thankful sa naging teammates ko and sa bumubuo ng ONIC PH. Gusto kong pasalamatan ‘yung mga teammates ko na naging part ng champion career ko.”
