In a major roster shake-up ahead of the MPL PH Season 17, ONIC PH officially announced that it has parted ways with star gold laner Duane “Kelra” Pillas, paving the way for his next chapter with ONIC Indonesia.

Kelra, people see the crazy mechanics and the Savages, but the real ones know it was the heart you put into every single game that mattered. You took all that pressure and just turned it into something special,” ONIC PH shared in a heartfelt social media post.

“Wins and losses come and go, but the bond we have is real. To the Super Fam, you’ll always be more than just a teammate or a player—you’re our brother.”

Widely regarded as one of the best—if not the best—gold laners in the Philippines, Kelra spent four seasons with ONIC PH after joining the squad from Omega Esports in 2024. His impact was immediate and historic.

In just his second season, Kelra helped deliver ONIC PH’s first-ever MPL Philippines championship during Season 14. He then solidified his legacy by leading the team to international glory, culminating in their unforgettable M6 World Championship triumph.

Now set to continue his career with ONIC Indonesia, Kelra will reunite with fellow Filipino star Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol, forming a formidable Filipino duo within the Indonesian powerhouse as they gear up for the upcoming season.

“Thanks for the hype, the grind, and for always giving us 100% no matter what,” ONIC PH added.

“Whatever’s next for you, just know the Super Fam is forever. We got you.”
