Trade talks surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo are starting to heat up, with the Milwaukee Bucks submitting counteroffers to teams interested in acquiring the two-team MVP, according to basketball insider Shams Charania.
This is a major development in the Greek Freak’s ongoing transfer saga, as the Bucks have long been resistant to the idea of moving their franchise player throughout his stay in Milwaukee.

Sources told Charania that four NBA teams are among the most active suitors for a Giannis deal. They are the New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Bucks are in serious danger of missing the playoffs as they are currently 12th in the Eastern Conference with an 18-29 record. Antetokounmpo has been sidelined recently after injuring his right calf in the game against Denver last January 24.

He is expected to return this season, though, making him a prime target for teams with title aspirations ahead of the trade deadline.
