The San Antonio Spurs ended the Orlando Magic’s two-game winning streak with a 112-103 home win, fueled by a balanced second-half performance.

San Antonio dominated early, with De’Aaron Fox and Victor Wembanyama leading a 37-21 first-quarter advantage. The Magic responded in the second, going on a 13-0 run behind Paolo Banchero and Anthony Black to take a slim halftime lead.

The Spurs regained control after the break, opening the third quarter with a 10-2 spurt and maintaining their momentum into the fourth. Six players scored in double figures, led by Wembanyama’s 25 points, 5 blocks, and 4 steals. Rookie Harper added 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.

For Orlando, Desmond Bane led the team with 25 points in the loss.

San Antonio will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on February 5, while the Magic travel to face the Thunder on February 4.

hot commentDue to the weather, the Spurs flew back to San Antonio with little rest, which is equivalent to playing a game after staying up all night. It's really not easy. This schedule is a bit tough. Come on!!

The Spurs still need to address the issue of easily relaxing after taking the lead, which has been the case for quite a few games...
