Jalen Green made his much-anticipated return to the hard court on Wednesday (PH time), coming off the bench in the Phoenix Suns’ game against the Philadelphia 76ers at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
It was the first time in Green’s career that he came off the bench in an NBA game. The Filipino-American started all 309 games he’s played in the regular season and seven in the playoffs before his bench appearance.
Green last saw action on November 8 before being sidelined for several games because of a right hamstring injury. The Suns opted to ease him back into action against Philadelphia, placing him on the bench instead of his customary starting role.
Green played nine minutes in the first half against the Sixers, recording 7 points, two rebounds, and two assists. He helped Phoenix grab a 57-53 lead at the break.
