Aurora bounced back from its opening-day defeat with a hard-fought win over CFU Gaming on Day 2 of the Swiss Stage at the M7 World Championship last Sunday at XO Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The match swung like a pendulum, with both teams repeatedly punished for overextensions and costly errors.
Aurora seized early control through disciplined execution but crumbled at the first Turtle fight, losing four players in a disastrous exchange.
They quickly regrouped, however, securing the second Turtle and picking off two CFU players in a coordinated counter-push to regain momentum.
Errors continued to dictate the flow of the game. An Aurora overextension left RORA three men down, opening the door for CFU’s Detective to secure a crucial triple kill.
Risky decisions from Wadu and Light later kept the contest on a knife-edge as the lead changed hands multiple times.
In the end, a decisive CFU mistake handed Aurora the final Lord, sealing the comeback victory.
Aurora faces Team Zone later today.
