Zamboanga Valientes is beefing up its roster for the 2026 Dubai International Basketball Championship.

Sources told Alta Sports that Terrence Romeo, Malick Diouf, Forthsky Padrigao, and Sam Deguara are set to suit up for the squad representing the country in the tournament, which will feature top club teams from the Middle East.

Romeo last played for Terrafirma, where he endured a forgettable season following a five-year stint with the San Miguel Beermen.

Diouf, a candidate for naturalization, previously represented the Philippines in the men’s 3x3 basketball event at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games.

Meanwhile, Padrigao, one of the Valientes’ mainstays, recently wrapped up his collegiate career with the University of Santo Tomas.
Towering at 7-foot-5, Deguara will return to the team after seeing action in the 34th edition of the Dubai Basketball Championship.

As for the NBA player set to reinforce the Valientes, a source speaking on condition of anonymity said an announcement is expected soon.
