Creamline signed libero Jen Nierva, strengthening its floor defense ahead of the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.
Nierva joined the Cool Smashers during Friday’s training session, where she was welcomed by veterans Michele Gumabao, Lorie Bernardo and fellow libero Aleiah Torres.
The Alas Pilipinas standout got a fresh start after Chery Tiggo disbanded last December.
The 26-year-old Nierva turned pro in 2023 with Chery Tiggo, her first club team after college. She formally bid farewell earlier this week, calling the Crossovers “a special place” in her career.

Nierva adds depth to Creamline’s backcourt alongside Torres, Kyla Atienza, Denden Lazaro-Revilla and Ella De Jesus.
She will also reunite with Alas Pilipinas teammate and setter Jia De Guzman, who returns to PVL action this season. Creamline also bolstered its coaching staff by adding Alas and UST men’s assistant Mark Alfafara to Sherwin Meneses’ bench.
After a title-less 2025, the Cool Smashers look to bounce back when the conference opens January 31.
