The NBA has released the initial results of fan voting for the 2026 All-Star Game, with Luka Dončić emerging as the overall vote leader after collecting 1,239,518 votes. Giannis Antetokounmpo tops the Eastern Conference with 1,192,296 votes.
Seven players have already surpassed the one-million vote mark in the early returns. Joining Dončić and Antetokounmpo in the million-vote club are Nikola Jokić, Tyrese Maxey, Jalen Brunson, Stephen Curry, and Cade Cunningham, highlighting the league’s mix of established superstars and rising stars.
This year’s voting reflects a key format change, as the NBA has removed position-specific requirements for All-Star starters. Under the current standings, LeBron James sits ninth in the Western Conference with 536,555 votes, while Kevin Durant ranks eighth with 548,754 votes, leaving both stars outside the projected starter group for now.
All-Star starters will be determined by a weighted voting system: 50 percent fan votes, 25 percent player votes, and 25 percent media votes. The top five vote-getters from each conference will earn starting spots in the All-Star Game.
