Sacramento Kings guard Russell Westbrook etched his name further into NBA history during the Kings’ matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, climbing into seventh place on the league’s all-time assists list.

Westbrook reached the milestone early, dishing out two assists within the opening three minutes. With 9:15 remaining in the first quarter, his assist to Keon Ellis for a layup pushed him past Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson on the career assists leaderboard.

Westbrook now owns 10,148 career assists. As of the latest update in the game, the veteran guard has posted an all-around performance with 21 points, four rebounds, and eight assists, continuing to showcase his playmaking prowess.
