The Phoenix Suns steamrolled an undermanned Los Angeles Lakers squad, cruising to a 132-108 victory on Wednesday (PH time) in their 2025-26 NBA regular season matchup at the Mortgage Matchup Center.
Phoenix seized control in the second quarter, building a 10-point cushion before blowing the game wide open, taking a commanding 26-point lead into the fourth.
Missing Luka Doncic and with LeBron James limited, the Lakers lacked the firepower to mount a comeback as the Suns’ advantage ballooned to as many as 32 in the final period.
Dillon Brooks led all scorers with 25 points, while Devin Booker turned in a stellar performance with 21 points and 11 assists.
The win lifted the Suns to 16-13, setting up a showdown with the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday. The Lakers, now 19-9, will look to regroup when they face the Houston Rockets on Christmas Day (Dec. 26, PH time).
