The NBA announced that Jalen Brunson and Jaren Jackson Jr. have earned Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week honors, respectively.

 

Brunson led the New York Knicks to a 2–1 record, averaging 31.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 8.0 assists, and helped the team secure the NBA Cup.

 

In the West, Jackson Jr. guided the Memphis Grizzlies to a 2–1 record, putting up 27.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game.

 

Other nominees included:

West: Deni Avdija, Shaedon Sharpe, Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert, Keyonte George, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokić.


East: Cade Cunningham, Josh Giddey, Nikola Vučević, Kon Knueppel, Tyrese Maxey, Derrick White.
