New York gained crucial separation with a decisive 8-0 run to close the third quarter, pushing a slim lead out to 100-92. The Knicks successfully carried that momentum into the final period, extending their advantage and reaching a pivotal 110-108 score line off a clutch Josh Hart jumpshot.
However, the Magic refused to go out quietly. Paolo Banchero briefly trimmed the deficit to six after a strong drive to the hoop. Any hope of an Orlando comeback was quickly snuffed out as Towns finished a clutch and-one play, immediately followed by a Brunson trey that put the game out of reach.
After reigning supreme in the Eastern Conference bracket, the New York Knicks will now await the winner of the Western Conference semifinal matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs to determine their opponent in the 2025 NBA Cup Final.
